Connie Russell, 34, is a program manager at a group home for the hearing impaired. She has had a hearing loss since birth, and her whole family is hearing impaired including her partner. Both Connie and her sister have worn hearing aids, but Connie’s family primarily communicates through sign language.

As an experienced hearing aid wearer, Connie tried digital hearing instruments about five years ago. Her experience left her feeling unsatisfied because listening on the telephone and trying to hear others in background noise was still very challenging. She wanted hearing instruments that could help her hear everyday sounds and speech more clearly.

As a new mother, Connie wanted to be sure that she was hearing her baby throughout the day and night. She thought that she was hearing her baby most of the time; however, when she wore her new 360+ hearing instruments, she realized that her 11-month daughter makes soft cooing sounds and sings – sounds she had been missing.

Connie feels more alert and less tired when wearing her 360+ hearing instruments. She finds that she is more talkative than before because she is more engaged in life and can hear more sounds around her.

She can hear music lyrics more easily. She also traveled by car, boat, and plane, and each time she noticed that her 360+ hearing instruments lowered the distracting noises of the engine and traffic.
